Trigger Method:
Can be activated by pull or pressure. When the fuze is actuated, the striker is released onto an igniter, which fires the propellant charge after a short delay; this blows the mine body out from the casing and ignites the pyrotechnic delays. When the mine reaches a height of approximately 1 m, the detonators initiate the main charge to shatter the steel body in all directions.

Structure and Components:
The mine body has a central fuze well leading to a propellant charge in the base of the mine. There are two pyrotechnic delay detonators mounted in the base of the heavy steel body, with detonator tubes protruding upwards into cylindrical boosters. Around the boosters is the main TNT charge. The mine body is housed in a thin steel can. The casing is sheet steel, the mine body is cast iron and the fuze body is alloy.
