RENDER SAFE PROCEDURE
Only to be attempted if AR fuze is known to be not fitted
1. Replace correct safety pin
2. Use remote methods to check mine is safe to move
3. Hold mine sides and carefully unscrew the detonator plug housing from
the base of the mine
4. Remove detonator
5. Remove to safe area for final disposal
COUNTERMINING PROCEDURE
1. Place countermining or incendiary charge close to but not in contact
with the mine casing
2. Detonate charge
Method of Planting:
Can be scattered from helicopter or automobile or planted by hand
